Garden OBGYN is Hiring a Medical Assistant Near Garden, NY

Large and Busy OB/GYN practice looking for Medical Assistants to work in our Long Island office. We are looking for a candidate who is able to learn in a fast paced environment, has a positive attitude and has a passion for OBGYN.

Medical Assistants Duties/Requirements:

  • Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; reporting patient history summary.
  • Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; completing diagnostic coding and procedure coding; keeping patient information confidential
  • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
  • Attends all company training's
  • Graduated from a Medical Assistant Program
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Available to work AM and PM shifts including weekends
  • Candidate must have at least 1 year experience working as an MA
  • OBGYN experience is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
